Shana’s narrative works often create the sense of a mythological story or
fragment of unfolding events.  She uses symbolic elements as metaphors for
growth, change and the Inner psyche.

Shana James studied fine art art Curtin University, graduating in 1989.
Her work has been exhibited widely in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
Her artwork is represented in many private and public collections including
Kerry Stokes, Artbank,  and The Department of Culture and the Arts.
